Newly constructed homes obtain a first occupancy license upon completion.<\/p>\n

However, very old houses or those that were built at the time without the required license do not have this documentation. For different procedures with the administration or for the sale of properties, the owner may be required to provide documentation equivalent to a first occupancy. Decree 2\/2012, of January 10 regulates the regime of existing buildings and settlements on undeveloped land in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
